The voting percentage in the second phase of the ballot out of 94 seats in the Bihar assembly elections rose to 55.70 after the figures were updated by the electoral commission on Wednesday.
The provisional voting figure until Tuesday night was 54.64, which rose slightly after the voting panel updated the data with the arrival of more entries from those constituencies.
Still, the revised turnout in the second round of voting in the respective seats is slightly lower than it was in the 2015 polls at 56.17%, according to Election Commission statistics.
The updated figures show that in the second stage of the ballot, the participation rate of women was 58.80% against 52.92 among men.
