Ranveer Singh’s performance that Deepika Padukone thinks is one of his best

Ranveer Singh shared a nostalgia post marking the seven years of his 2013 film Lootera, which his wife, actress Deepika Padukone, considers “one of his best performances”. Ranveer shared two video montages – one dedicated to his character in the film while the other also included his co-star Sonakshi Sinha. In the comments section of the old article, Deepika Padukone wrote: “One of your best performances!” Deepika and Ranveer have starred in movies like Ram leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat (in which they did not have scenes together). When it was released in 2013, Lootera was an instant hit with critics who praised the film and its distribution for its exceptional performance. Lootera, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, is a party based on the 1907 short story by O Henry The last sheet.

In Lootera, Ranveer Singh plays the role of a crook, who falls in love with Pakhi (Sonakshi Sinha), the daughter of a zamindar, that he is fooling. A few years later, Pakhi, who dies of tuberculosis, briefly teams up with the cops to arrest him, but their love for each other gives their fate another twist.

From now on, Ranveer Singh is pending the release of Kabir Khan ’83, in which he plays the role of Kapil Dev while Deepika makes a special appearance as Romi Bhatia, wife of Kapil Dev. The film is based on the historic Cricket World Cup of India victory in 1983. The film was originally scheduled to be released in April 2020. However, due to the nationwide lockdown following the COVID pandemic -19, the movie release was rescheduled for December 2020.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in a 2020 movie Chhapaak, which it produced. The film was directed by Meghna Gulzar.
