Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely travel to Ayodhya on August 5 for the “bhoomi pujan“Ceremony to begin construction of a large Ram temple, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra has begun preparations, its members announced today.

Three-day Vedic rituals, beginning on August 3, will precede the main ceremony.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aadityanath will also join the “bhoomi pujan” ceremony.
“I cannot say the exact date but we have information that the Prime Minister’s visit is tentatively scheduled for August 5,” said Triloki Nath Pandey, holder of the Ram Janmabhoomi decree mandated by the Supreme Court.
