Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed his condolences on the disappearance of famous violinist TN Krishnan, who died in Chennai at the age of 92. In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi sent his condolences to Mr Krishnan’s family and noted that his disappearance had left a “great void in the world of music”.
“The death of the famous violinist TN Krishnan leaves a great void in the world of music. His works have beautifully summarized a wide range of emotions and currents of our culture. He has also been an exceptional mentor for young musicians. Condolences to his family and to his admirers. Om Shanti, ”PM Modi tweeted.
TN Krishnan, who took his last breath on Monday evening, was born on October 6, 1926 in Kerala and later settled in Chennai. He has also received many awards like Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Sangeetha Kalanidhi.
