Darbhanga, Bihar:

Congressman Rahul Gandhi today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Bihar, saying they are not talking about development and issues related to Bihar farmers, workers and small entrepreneurs .

Speaking at a public rally in Darbhanga, Rahul Gandhi said: “The prime minister is not talking about employment. Nitish Kumar talks bad things about Tejashwi Yadav’s family while Modiji talks about my family. But the issue of unemployment, the lives of farmers and small entrepreneurs are not addressed by Modiji and Nitishji. This survey does not concern my families or those of Nitish Kumar. It is a poll on the future of the people of Bihar. Yet they don’t talk about the issues the people of Bihar want to listen to. “

“What people got after giving Nitish 15 yearsji and six years in Modiji. Young people in Bihar have not been able to find work. In addition, they cannot find employment elsewhere because Modiji finished his job across the country, ”he said.

The congressman also criticized the prime minister for his demonetization.

“When the ticket ban took place, you were in line. Did the black money come back? No. It was handed over to a few big industrialists,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi also said the lockdown was announced without giving migrant workers much time. “Without warning, the Prime Minister announced the lockdown. Migrant workers traveled on an empty stomach to their homes. There have been deaths from hunger and thirst instead of the coronavirus.”

“We asked Modiji and Nitishji to give them money. They (the workers) are the backbone of the country. The government did not provide a rupee for their help. Instead, they have waived taxes from their friends and businessmen, ”said the congressman.

He added: “Now we have come to a situation where the country cannot create jobs. It is the truth and you have to decide. This poll is about the future of Bihar. On the one hand there is in Tejashwiji and on the other hand there is Nitishji and Modji – belonging to the past. “

Voting began in 71 constituencies across 16 districts in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections today at 7 a.m. Voting for the second phase will take place on November 3 and the third phase on November 7.

The results will be announced following the counting of the votes on November 10.
