Bombay:
An Ethiopian Airlines cargo plane, which was on its way to Bengaluru from Riyadh, was diverted to Mumbai airport on Sunday due to a technical problem.
The ET-690 freighter, with eight crew members, has landed safely, a spokesperson for Mumbai airport said.
There was a technical problem with the Ethiopian cargo plane, the official added.
“There was a full emergency call on Sunday at Mumbai Airport (for Ethiopian cargo planes). The vehicles were dispatched by Mumbai firefighters and attended according to protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP) The plane was heading for Bengaluru from Riyadh with eight crew members, ”the spokesperson said.
The plane landed safely without injuring anyone, the official said.
