Bombay:
Supporters of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) placed a poster in front of Eknath Khadse’s residence in Mumbai which read “If we change, we will change the atmosphere”.
“Didn’t we tell you … if you change nothing would happen but if we change then the whole atmosphere will change,” the poster read.
Eknath Khadse, who recently resigned from the BJP, said on Wednesday that he would join the NCP today.
“I will join the PCN on October 23,” Khadse told reporters. He also alleged that he suffered greatly at the BJP.
“The then Chief Minister (Devendra Fadnavis) ordered the police to register an FIR against me over a false allegation of harassment by a woman. He said the case would be withdrawn later. A corruption investigation was opened against me in which I was clear. I suffered a lot at the BJP, ”Mr. Khadse said.
