New Delhi:

A month after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Sanjana Sanghi, his co-star in the next film Dil Bechara, republished one of his old tributes for the late actor in which she said, “Whoever said that time helps heal all wounds was lying.” Dil Bechara is Sanjana’s first film (not counting his cameo in the 2011 film Rock star). In the note Sanjana posted on her Instagram story, she talked about wounds that don’t heal over time and added: “Some people feel like they’re torn over and over and bleeding: There will be moments now never memories … Laughs together that were but will never be again … Questions that will remain unanswered … Incredulity only increases.

She added: “But these injuries also contain a film, a gift that everyone has not yet seen. Wounds that contain dreams, plans and desires for the children of our country, their education and their future that will be filled, wounds that contain a passion for an endless creative zest for each artist, wounds that contain the hope of a world that promises to respect honesty, integrity, kindness and embraces individuality – cleared of all toxicity … I swear I will do everything to make sure that each of these dreams come true, as you always wanted. Except that you promised that we would do everything together. “

Here’s what Sanjana Sanghi shared on her Instagram story:

Two weeks ago, Sanjana Sanghi shared a photo of the airport and announced that she was leaving for New Delhi, her hometown. She captioned the message: “Goodbye, Mumbai. It took me four months to see you. I’m going back to Delhi. Your streets looked a little different, they were empty. Maybe the sadness in my heart is to change my point of view, or maybe you also suffer. See you soon … or maybe not. “

Dil Bechara, directed by Mukesh Chhabra, will be released on Disney + Hotstar on July 24.
