The latest weather forecast warns of more rain and “severe thunderstorms and lightning” in Bihar, parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal in the next 12 hours. Large swathes of the state were flooded after the Kamla River in Darbhanga broke through due to heavy rains.
