The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) informed Thursday that in the past 24 hours, a total of 3,804 COVID-19 patients have been cured.
“In the past 24 hours, a total of 3,804 COVID-19 patients have been cured. So far, a total of 1.04107 patients have been cured of COVID-19. The recovery rate is 47.99% of COVID-19 patients. Currently, there are 1,066,737 active cases and all are under active medical surveillance, “said a press release from MoHFW.
The press release says that “the ICMR has further increased testing capacity to detect the new coronavirus in infected people. The number of government laboratories has been increased to 498 and private laboratories to 212.”
“1,39,485 samples have been tested in the past 24 hours. The total number of samples tested to date is 42,422,718,” the statement said.
