Mickey’s entrepreneur on the set at the time of COVID-19

With the unlocking underway in the country, the filmmakers and producers are resuming the work of producing their films. Mickey Contractor, the well-known makeup artist from Bollywood, launched a bombshell of truth on Monday about how it would be to work on the sets of a film at the time of the coronavirus pandemic. Mickey Contractor shared a photo of him on the set of a film and it doesn’t look anything like normal. In the photo, Mickey Contractor can be seen wearing a face mask, a face shield and a personal protective equipment (PPE) kit as a precaution against coronavirus. Sharing the image of the new normal on the film sets, Mickey Contractor wrote: “On filming, that’s how it’s going to be for a while. I’ve worn it for the last 2 hours and I can’t wait to tear it off. ” Mickey’s entrepreneur also expressed his gratitude to health care professionals and front line workers of COVID-19 and added: “Hats off to all health care workers who have been doing this for months.” See his article here:

Last month, the government of Maharashtra issued an order authorizing the filming of films, television series and digital series in the non-containment areas of Maharashtra. The order came in response to Letter from the Federation of West Indian Employees to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, requesting authorization revive post-production activities for films, shows and other entertainment projects. In issuing a government resolution, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs stated that producers will have to carry out pre-production and post-production work in accordance with the guidelines set out by the government.

Let’s go back to entrepreneur Mickey. Mickey Contractor is known to do make-up for film actors such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Don among others. He recently did Kajol makeup for the film Tanhaji: the unknown warrior.
