Kareena said she, along with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur, would hold low-key Diwali celebrations in the hills. Kareena said she chose Dharamshala because Saif was already at the hill station for her filming schedule and also because she had never visited the place. “Saif is shooting in Dharamshala for a movie, and I’ve never been there, so Taimur and I are going to join him there. We can’t wait to go. It will be great to travel to the mountains and spend time in it. outdoors, air and sun, ”said Kareena, quoted by TOI, a few days before Diwali.
Each year, Kareena and Saif make frequent trips to London or Switzerland, but due to the pandemic travel plans have had to be put on hold and now Dharamshala seems like the perfect choice. “It’s been a year where we’ve had to be home for a long time. So going to Dharamshala and being there for a few days will be great,” Kareena said in her interview.
When asked how exactly they would sound on Diwali in the Hills, Kareena said, “We plan to be silent and spend as much time in the open air as possible. Obviously it won’t be a big Diwali, and I’m very happy with that, I’d rather have it small this year. “
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan announced their second pregnancy in August. Kareena is in her second trimester of pregnancy. Kareena wrapped up the program Laal Singh Chaddha last month, which is slated for release on Christmas 2021.
