With the gradual easing of the national lockdown, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar urged people on Friday to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from the coronavirus. The 90-year-old singer spoke to Twitter asking people to watch out for the highly contagious virus.
“Namaskaar, The lock is gradually relaxed. My sincere request to all, however, is to take proper precautions and care, “Lata Mangeshkar tweeted.
“The lock being relaxed, it does not mean that the virus has subsided. Continue to follow government directives. Stay safe and blessed,” she added.
The veteran singer is one of the Bollywood personalities who have made the new coronavirus known since its appearance in the country.
