“It’s only a matter of time … Until we meet again,” wrote Sutapa Sikdar a month after the death of her husband and actor Irrfan Khan. the Piku star died on April 29 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Friday, Sutapa Sikdar shared two photos of the return of Irrfan Khan, one of which shows her hugging the actor, on Facebook and wrote an emotional note for him. Quoting a verse from the poem of the Sufi poet Rumi A large cart, Sutapa wrote: “Beyond the ideas of wrongdoing and good deeds, there is a field. I will meet you there. When the soul lies down in this grass, the world is too full to speak of it. ” It’s just a matter of time…milenge, baaten karenge… Till we Meet Again.”

In one of the images, Irrfan can be seen lying on the grass and looking at the camera while the other shows the actor taking a selfie with Sutapa holding him by the back.

Earlier this month, Sutapa shared the link to a song that Irrfan Khan “loved” and used to listen whenever he was sad. “My eternal love for him and my gratitude to the universe and my prayers for everyone in these extraordinary times while I pray for him … The song he loved and listened to when it was sad and which m soothe now in the most difficult moments … my eyes I can’t see you but you stay in my vision “, she wrote while sharing the song.

Irrfan Khan had battled cancer for over two years and, because of his health, stayed out of the spotlight for a long time. On April 29, he lost his battle against a rare form of cancer and died at the age of 53 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. He is survived by Sutapa and their two sons – Babil and Ayaan.

Irrfan Khan, who has worked in several critically acclaimed films such as Paan Singh Tomar, The namesake, Maqbool, Haasil, Haider, Piku and Talvar among others, was last seen in Angrezi Medium, which follows his 2017 hit Hindi Medium.
