Almost 17% of Covid Deaths in India May Be Linked to Long-Term Exposure to Air Pollution: Study.

New Delhi:

The country’s single-day coronavirus count has risen by nearly 14%, with a jump of nearly 50,000 new COVID-19 infections, pushing overall Covid numbers in India beyond the 80 lakh mark, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

India has reported 49,881 new cases of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, with the number of people infected with the virus so far reaching 80.40203, according to government data.

There are now 1.2 lakh total of Covid-related deaths with 517 patients dying from the disease in the past 24 hours.
