Senthil Kumar explained the human rights violations and persecution suffered by the Pak minority communities.

Geneva:

India ripped apart Pakistan on Monday for raising the Kashmir issue at the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) and expressed “deep concern” over Pakistan’s daring accusation of others ‘have “carried out state-sponsored genocide”.

Exercising his right of reply after Pakistan raised Kashmir at the 43rd session of the HRC, Senthil Kumar, the first secretary of the permanent mission of India denounced Islamabad for having abused the rights forum and its mechanism and asked the neighboring country to question its grave human rights situations before offering unsolicited advice to anyone.

Drawing the Council’s attention to crimes against humanity in Pakistan, New Delhi said that enforced disappearances, state violence, forced mass displacement, extrajudicial killings, military operations, camps torture, detention centers and military camps are a common feature in Balochistan.

Maintaining that India’s decision to revoke article 370 of the former state of Jammu and Kashmir in August of the year has no external ramifications, Kumar said the people had moved forward despite Pakistan’s “infamous attempt” to derail peace and prosperity.

“It is regrettable that Pakistan continues to maintain its history of abuse of the Human Rights Council and its mechanism. It is of great concern that Pakistan, the only country in South Asia to carry out sponsored genocide by the state, have the audacity to accuse others, “said Kumar.

“It is doubtful that a country with serious credibility problems speaks of human rights and self-determination. This country was born of religious fundamentalism and bloodshed and its fake history of assassinations, beatings and puppets on the move, “he added.

Mr. Kumar explained the human rights violations and the persecution suffered by minority communities in Pakistan. He spoke of the abuse of blasphemy in Pakistan to terrorize minorities and cited examples of systemic targeting of minorities through blasphemy laws.

“The systemic abuse of blasphemy in Pakistan has terrorized minorities in Pakistan. The recent fate of two Hindu girls in Sindh, a Christian in Lahore, an Ahmadi in Chaleki, two teachers from Khairpur are examples of systemic targeting of minorities by blasphemy. The state of Pakistan manifests itself well in impunity in the murder of 65 transgender people in Pakistan since 2015, “said Kumar.

“Forced disappearances, state violence and forced mass displacement, harassment, extrajudicial executions, military operations, torture, killings, torture camps, detention centers and military camps are common features in Balochistan.

India also pointed out that there was no information on the fate of 47,000 Baluchis and 35,000 Pashtuns who have been missing to date. He added that sectarian violence had left more than 500 Hazaras in Balochistan and more than 100,000 Hazaras had fled Pakistan “, he added.
