US President Donald Trump said on Friday he thought he was “doing very well” in his first public comments since announcing he had tested positive for Covid-19.
“I want to thank everyone for the huge support,” Trump said in a short video message posted to his Twitter account as he arrived by helicopter at a military hospital near Washington for Covid-19 treatment .

“I’m going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I’m doing great. But we’re going to make sure things go well,” Trump said.
“The First Lady is doing very well,” he added.
