Bombay:
Today, heavy monsoon showers hit parts of Mumbai. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of “intense rain episodes” in isolated places in Mumbai and Raigad over the next three hours.
The Konkan coast and some other parts of Maharashtra are also susceptible to rain, the Met Department added.
A high tide of 4.52 meters is forecast for 1:43 p.m. today, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

The neighboring states of Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, are also witnessing heavy rains today. Villages in the Vikarabad district of Telangana have been inundated due to continued rainfall in the area.
In Madhya Pradesh, heavy rains yesterday triggered flash floods in parts of Sehore.
