Who needs a homecoming Thursday or a flashback Friday to cherish returning memories? Gauri Khan surely does not. The 49-year-old interior designer stumbled across a throwback photo of herself and her husband Shah Rukh Khan from what appears to be many years ago and her enthusiasm has spilled over to Instagram. Gauri shared the photo, originally posted on a fan page, on his Instagram Story with the words: “Old is gold.” In the photo, much more recent versions of Gauri and Shah Rukh can be seen attending what appears to be a showbiz event with Gauri’s mother, Savita Chhiba. Shah Rukh and Gauri got married in 1991 when he was 26 and Gauri 21.

Gauri Khan is a fan of flashbacks, no really! She recently shared a memory from 2008 – when Shah Rukh Khan threw his wax statue at the Musée Grévin in Paris. “Two things to deal with,” she wrote with the red heart icon. Shah Rukh Khan, known for his witty responses, responded with this tweet:

Shah Rukh and Gauri are parents of three children – their daughter Suhana and their sons Aryan and AbRam. Suhana attends Columbia University in New York and is currently back home in Mumbai due to the coronavirus pandemic. Aryan, who is also studying cinema, is also with his family in Mumbai. In an interactive session recently, Shah Rukh said catching up with his kids kept him busy during the lockdown.
