Jaipur:

A third flight from Kazakhstan carrying 147 passengers on board arrived in Jaipur today as part of the center’s mega evacuation mission amidst coronavirus isolation, an official said.

No fewer than 618 indigenous people from Rajasthan have reached Jaipur in six flights so far as part of the Vande Bharat mission, an official said today.

So far, three flights have arrived from Kazakhstan, said Deputy Secretary General of Rajasthan, Subodh Agarwal.

He said: “158 expatriates arrive in Rajasthan on a second Air India flight today, while 150 are from Kuwait and 143 passengers will return to Jaipur from Ukraine.”

He said the returnees will be kept in institutional quarantine for seven days followed by home quarantine for a week.

Airport manager Jaideep Singh Balhara said the coronavirus protocol was disseminated through notices posted in conspicuous places on airport premises.
