Calcutta:
Five family members, including two children and two women, were found dead on Sunday at their home in Dakshin Dinajpur district, West Bengal, police said.
The incident took place in the village of Jamalpur and it is suspected that they were murdered, a senior police official said.
“It appears that they were murdered. We have opened an investigation into the incident. It is at a preliminary stage,” he said.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem, the officer added.
