Actress Maanvi Gagroo, who called the fashion brand House Of Fett for passing an ad that puts fat to shame with its photo, revealed on Friday that the brand had apologized and withdrawn the promotional message. “This brand has apologized on its SM (social media) accounts and has assured us that the ad in question has been removed. I also realize that the slogan did not come from a place of malicious intent but d “sheer ignorance. Hopefully it won’t happen again, the case is now over.” On Thursday, the 34-year-old actress tweeted a screenshot of a promotional message from House Of Fett, with the description: “Styles to hide your curves” written under one of her photos, and condemned it as an “unpleasant slogan”. Maanvi also said that the brand did not even have permission to use its photos for promotional messages and said: “I did not wear this dress to ‘hide my curves’.” On her Instagram story, she tagged the brand and said, “You must immediately remove this shameful ad / post / advertisement.”
This brand apologized on its SM accounts and assured us that the advertisement in question had been withdrawn. I also realize that the slogan did not come from a place of wickedness but of pure ignorance. In the hope that this will not happen again, the case is now closed.

“We are deeply sorry,” the brand said in a note of apology shared on Instagram. “We are totally against any form of shame, on social media or otherwise. Our goal has always been to bring out the beauty of our customers and make them smile. This has been negligence at our level and for that we are sorry This announcement has been duly withdrawn, “the statement said, tagging Maanvi. In response to its Instagram story, the brand wrote, “We are a growing brand. We may have made some mistakes. It was never intended to undermine the principles that you stand for.”
