Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday criticized family parties saying they were the biggest threat to democracy and said even a national party had fallen prey.
Addressing party workers at a congratulatory ceremony after the BJP’s victory in Bihar’s elections and in various bypasses, he claimed that the only mantra for his party’s victory was “Sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas “.
Prime Minister Modi said the results of the Bihar poll and other farewell elections across the country have made it clear that people will now only support those who honestly work for development.
“People have decided that only development will be the basis of national policy in the 21st century,” he said.
