A 5.4 magnitude earthquake was reported on Friday near Taipei, Taiwan, according to the Indian National Seismology Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 427 km southeast (SE) of Taipei, Taiwan, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 7:52:32 am IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
