A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was reported Monday morning near Kargil in Ladakh, according to the Indian National Seismology Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 411 km north-northeast (NNE) of Kargil, Ladakh, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 7:28:59 am IST at a depth of 150 km from the surface.
