DRDO can manufacture around 25,000 fans each month if necessary (representational)

G Satheesh Reddy, president of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), said Sunday that the organization has so far produced 70 “Made in India” products to fight COVID-19.
Interior Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID-19 Hospital built by DRDO on Sunday. The temporary hospital structure, which was erected in 11 days, has 1,000 beds, including 250 intensive care beds, informed DRDO officials.
“The hospital is equipped with all the facilities for patients free of charge and army personnel will provide their services 24/7. A garbage dump has been leveled and cleaned to build the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID-19 hospital “G Satheesh Reddy told ANI. .
“DRDO has manufactured 70 Made in India products to combat COVID-19 so far. We can manufacture approximately 25,000 fans per month if needed. We are ready to export them as well,” said Reddy.
