Donald Trump was hospitalized on Friday after tests showed he had contracted COVID-19.

Washington:

US President Donald Trump has been without a fever for more than four days now and all of his vital signs remain stable and normal now, White House doctor Dr Sean Conley said on Wednesday.

“The president said this morning” I feel good! “Her physical exam and vital signs, including oxygen saturation and respiratory rate, all remain stable and within normal limits,” Conley said in a memorandum.

Trump, 74, and First Lady Melania tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday evening. The president was taken to a military hospital for treatment, which the White House said was considered “a matter of abundance caution.

After spending four days, he returned to the White House on Monday.

The president later removed his mask on the balcony of the White House, where several staff and assistants have tested positive for the virus in recent days.

On Wednesday, Conley further said Trump was no longer showing any symptoms.

“He has now been fever-free for over four days, symptom-free for over 24 hours, and has not needed or received additional oxygen since the initial hospitalization,” he wrote.
