US President Donald Trump’s campaign slammed the Commission on Presidential Debates for announcing that the scheduled October 15 debate between Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden would not take place, claiming there was no medical basis to the decision.
“There is no medical reason to prevent the October 15 debate in Miami from going as planned because the president will be healthy and ready to debate,” the campaign said in a statement, alluding to the Trump’s coronavirus infection.
