Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds hit parts of the nation’s capital Monday morning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudy skies with light rain for today.
The nation’s capital has experienced thunderstorms, accompanied by rains in the past two days, bringing relief to all after the temperature climbed above 40 degrees Celsius.

IMD said Friday that conditions could become favorable for the advancement of the southwest monsoon in Delhi and Haryana around June 25.
