New Delhi:
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake was reported on Friday near Delhi, according to the Indian National Center for Seismology.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 63 km southwest of Gurgaon in Haryana, India, the agency said.
The earthquake struck at 19 h 00 min 48 s IST at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and the surrounding area for several seconds.
