Deepika Padukone did a bit of experimentation with her hairdressing skills and guess who she tried her expertise? Well we all know it must be her husband Ranveer Singh, who shared a preview of her new look on Instagram. In the close-up shared by Ranveer, her hair can be seen styled into a sort of crudely done bun. the Dil Dhadakne Do the actor thinks his hairstyle resembles that of a samurai – Kuwabatake Sanjuro (famous played by actor Toshiro Mifune) from 1961 film by Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa Yojimbo. “Hair of: Deepika Padukone. Very Mifune in ‘Yojimbo’. I like that. What do you think?” Ranveer captioned his photo. Here take a look:
Earlier this month, Ranveer passed by a salon in Mumbai, when the salon’s hairstylist shared this post about the “new normal” – Ranveer wore a mask, of course.
During the lockdown, Deepika Padukone not only served as Ranveer’s hairstylist, but also transformed into a chef, making delicious five-course meals for dates at home, and also a desi Marie Kondo. During a recent interactive Instagram session, Deepika revealed that she would like to visit her family in Bangalore as one of the things on her “post lockdown bucket list”.
Before the lockdown, Ranveer Singh had closed the filming schedules for two of his next films – ’83 and Jayeshbhai jordaar. Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 was slated for release in April but has been postponed indefinitely as the coronavirus lockdown was imposed. Deepika also co-starred with Ranveer in the sports drama. Yash Raj Film’s Jayeshbhai jordaar is slated to appear on screens on October 2. Ranveer will also feature in a cameo in Akshay Kumar Sooryavanshi, which will be released in theaters. Ranveer’s upcoming projects also include Karan Johar’s period drama Takht.
Deepika Padukone, last seen at Chhapaak, has interesting projects lined up – she will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood hit Trainee and she also recently announced a movie with Baahubali star Prabhas.
