Deepika Padukone spends her lockout period by watch classic movies every night and even suggest to his fans some of these masterpieces. On Wednesday, the actress added a film to her list of recommended films – The green Line. The 1999 film, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King, features Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan in the lead roles. The green Line, located in a prison, revolves around the life of a death row correctional officer (played by Tom Hanks), who witnesses strange events occurring around him after a prisoner (played by Michael Clarke Duncan) be brought to his correctional facility. Directed by Frank Darabont, the critically acclaimed film was even nominated in four Oscar categories in 1999 – Best Film, Best Supporting Actor, Best Sound and Best Screenplay Based on Material Already Produced or Published.
