India also broke the 10 crore mark by performing tests for COVID-19 as on Thursday with an average test of more than 10 lakh samples per day over the past 17 days, said the Indian Council of the medical research (ICMR). So far, 74,000 tests per million inhabitants have been carried out.

Canada launches pilot program to test travelers for COVID-19 at entry

The Canadian government, in collaboration with Alberta, is launching a pilot program to reduce quarantine time for international travelers by testing for COVID-19 at the point of entry, the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs said in a statement.
