Defending leader of his party in Uttar Pradesh Ajay Kumar Lallu, who was arrested in a case of cheating and counterfeiting, Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Tuesday that he had always beaten for the displaced and marginalized.
His remarks precede the Lallu bail hearing which, according to UP Congress media coordinator Lalan Kumar, will take place on Thursday.
In a series of tweets, Priyanka Gandhi accused the Yogi Adityanath government of violating all humanitarian principles.
