Some Maharashtra BJP leaders on Wednesday expressed shock and disappointment at former minister Eknath Khadse’s decision to quit the party.
Earlier today, Minister of State Jayant Patil said Mr. Khadse would join the ruling NCP on Friday.
Speaking about Mr Khadse’s decision, the head of the state unit of the BJP, Chandrakant Patil, said: “We were hoping that Eknath Khadse would stay with the party, until I receive his resignation today. hui. “
