Haryana’s Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attacked the opposition in Haryana, accusing them of engaging in caste politics against the BJP’s development plan in the Baroda bypass slated to be held on November 3.
“Other parties are committed to giving caste color to bypolls, but we’ll talk about the development of Baroda; we’ll talk about farmers’ interests; we’ll talk about bringing IMT (Industrial Model Township) to Baroda; we’ll talk about giving youth employment, ”Khattar said in a tweet.
“Now the decision has to be made by the people of Baroda,” Khattar said.
Expressing confidence in winning the bypolls, made necessary by the death of Congressman Shri Krishan Hooda in April, Mr Khattar in another tweet said the by-elections would mark the end of “15 years of congressional maladministration. “.
Mr Khattar said he was confident that people will vote for the BJP based on the development work initiated by his government.
Meanwhile, Kurukshetra MP BJP Nayab Singh Saini said Mr. Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala will jointly campaign for the bypasses.
They will be looking to vote for BJP candidate and Olympic medalist Yogeshwar Dutt who is locked in a contest with Congress candidate Induraj Narwal and Joginder Singh Malik of the INLD.
