CBI officials dressed in PPE kits raided Delhi and Noida premises

New Delhi:

The Central Investigation Office (CBI) today carried out searches of the offices of administrators of Moser Baer Solar Limited, Deepak Puri, Ratul Puri and others in Delhi and Noida, in the context of a fraud case of 787.25 crore rupees.

Officials say a case has been filed in this matter following a complaint by the National Bank of Punjab (PNB) against Moser Baer Solar Limited and others, including its directors and other unknown persons and officials of unknown banks.

Based on this complaint, the Law Enforcement Department (DE) arrested Ratul Puri on August 19 of last year. However, he was later released on bail by a trial court in Delhi.

In particular, the ED had filed a complaint in October last year against the businessman Ratul Puri, the nephew of the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath, within the framework of this affair.

Ratul Puri is also under investigation in a money laundering case related to the VVIP AgustaWestland chopper scam.
