British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he is fine after coming into contact with someone with COVID-19 and will move the government forward via Zoom while isolating himself in Downing Street.
Johnson said on Sunday that the NHS Test & Trace program told him to self-isolate for two weeks. Smiling and wearing a sweater with an open shirt, Johnson said in a video posted to Twitter that he was as “in shape as a butcher’s dog.”
Hello everyone, our NHS Test & Trace program has asked me to self-isolate for two weeks, after coming into contact with someone with Covid-19.
I am healthy and symptom-free, and will continue to lead our response to the virus and our plans to #BuildBackBetterpic.twitter.com/yNgIme8lOz

“I’m overflowing with antibodies,” Johnson said. “Much more to be said via Zoom of course and other electronic means of communication.”
Ministers said Boris Johnson is doing well.
“He’s fine, he’s absolutely full of beans,” Health Secretary Matt Hancock told Sky News. “He will, I have no doubt, get things done this week through Zoom.”
When Johnson caught COVID-19 in March, he tried to overcome the disease “in denial” – but ended up wearing an oxygen mask in an intensive care unit and was ultimately inactive for almost a month .
He later said he fought for his life as the state braced for the unthinkable: possible death as prime minister.
