Good news guys! Ahead of the big premiere, Salman Khan announced the series’ first contestant and we’re beyond us. Guesses? This is none other than singer Jaan Kumar Sanu, son of playback singer Kumar Sanu. The first candidate was announced at a virtual press conference, which was also attended by Bigg Boss 13 winner Siddharth Shukla and former contestants Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan. Welcoming Jaan as a new member of the house at a virtual press conference, Siddharth Shukla gave him some “awesome advice” to make his trip to the house memorable. Host Salman Khan (we know, yes) also shared how he spent his time during the lockdown in his Panvel farm, where he was staying with his family. The actor also spoke about the safety precautions that have been taken into account on the sets of the series. The new season will be broadcast on Colors TV from October 3.

Last year, Bigg Boss 13 premiered on September 30 and reached its final in February with TV actor Siddharth Shukla as the winner. This year, it has been reported that TV actors like Nia Sharma, Vivian Dsena and Sugandha Mishra will be entering the house as candidates. However, the full list of candidates has yet to be announced.
