New Delhi:
The border between Bhutan and China is under negotiation and has not been demarcated, said the Royal Bhutan Embassy in India.
“24 cycles of border talks at ministerial level have taken place, the 25th cycle has been delayed due to COVID. All disputed areas will be discussed in the next cycle, to be held as soon as it is mutually convenient,” said the royal embassy of Bhutan in a press release.
The Bhutan statement comes amid reports of Chinese claims to the Sakteng Wildlife Reserve in eastern Bhutan.
