The editor of the Global Times then tweeted: “The Chinese sides also suffered losses during the physical confrontation in the Galwan Valley. I mean on the Indian side, don’t be arrogant and interpret the restraint of China as being weak “
From what I know, the Chinese side also suffered losses in the physical shock of the Galwan Valley. I mean on the Indian side, don’t be arrogant and interpret China’s restraint as weak. China does not want to have a confrontation with India, but we are not afraid of it.

India has confirmed that a colonel and two soldiers were killed “in a violent confrontation” at night with Chinese troops. Army sources said there was no shooting and that stones and batons were used. The military has revised its initial statement to emphasize that there have been casualties on both sides but has not provided details.
In a demonstration of aggression, the Chinese Foreign Ministry accused India of crossing the border and warned it of “unilateral action”.
Talks are underway at the clash in the western Himalayas between the main generals on both sides, the army said.
“During the ongoing de-escalation process in the Galwan Valley, a violent confrontation took place last night with victims from both sides,” the army said. “The loss of human life on the Indian side includes an officer and two soldiers.”
It is the first time in four decades that clashes between Indian and Chinese troops have resulted in deaths.
Tensions have thrilled Ladakh for weeks with reports of a Chinese aggression at the strategic level of Lake Pangong, but several rounds of talks between military and diplomatic officials on both sides have led to the withdrawal of troops, a- we learned.
