Bombay:

Citing the founder of Shiv Sena, the late Balasaheb Thackeray, actor Kangana Ranaut wondered on Friday how he would feel if he saw his party’s situation today.

Sharing an old video clip of an interview given by the late Balasaheb in which he said he did not like “elections and groupism”, Ms Ranaut said the late leader’s biggest fear was that Shiv Sena ” becomes Congress “.

“The great Bala Saheb Thakeray, one of my favorite icons, his biggest fear was that one day Shiv Sena will make Gutbandhan and become Congress. I want to know what his conscious feeling is today looking at the state of his party? (Sic) “Kangana Ranaut’s tweet has been read.

Ms Ranaut grabbed the headlines with her bold statements and revelations about the Hindi film industry after actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at her Mumbai residence in June.

She had been given category Y-plus security coverage by the Union Home Office following the row over her comments, in which she compared Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and also targeted the Mumbai police.

Recently, the actor had also moved the Bombay High Court against the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolition campaign on his property in Mumbai.
