In a moving tribute, Ekta Kapoor shared an IGTV video starring Sushant Singh Rajput with herself and other members of her production house Balaji Telefilms. The leading role of Sushant Singh Rajput was on the television series of Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta. Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead on Sunday at his Mumbai home. Mumbai police have confirmed that the death was due to suicide. Ekta Kapoor, Sunday, shared a screenshot of his Instagram exchange with Mr. Rajput a week back and mourned his death. “Sushi not fair! One week everything changed! Not just my baby,” wrote Ekta Kapoor.

Tributes from the late actor poured in on social media from his co-stars and colleagues from the film’s fraternity. The filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, who directed Sushant Singh Rajput in his first film Kai Po Che and then worked with the actor Kedarnath, wrote in his funeral eulogy on Sushant’s love for science and space. An excerpt from his article said, “He was a great lover of science and was absorbed in what was beyond the universe. I will miss you, my brother, and remain interstellar.”

Sushant Singh Rajput, who rose to fame with the television series by Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta, is best known for his performances in films such as Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, PK, Raabta, Sonchiriya and the MS Dhoni biopic. He was last seen in the movie Netflix 2019 Drive.
