After the success of his last production company Paatal lok, Anushka Sharma shared the first look of her new Netflix movie Bulbbul on social media. In the short video clip, a silhouette of a girl is seen prancing above the trees while the soft music plays in the background. Share the first look of Bulbbul, the producer of the film Anushka Sharma wrote: “Here’s your first look at Bulbbul. A fantastic tale about self-discovery and justice, wrapped in traditions, mystery and intrigue. Soon on Netflix. I can’t wait to share more. “

Produced by Anushka and his brother Karnesh Sharma’s production house, Clean Slate Films, Bulbbul stars Avinash Tiwary, Tripti Dimri, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead roles and is scheduled to release on Netflix on June 24.
Bulbbul was announced as one of the nine original new Netflix movies from India in 2018. Netflix gave a glimpse into the history of Bulbbul and the film’s synopsis said: “A young bride is growing up to become an enigmatic woman presiding over her household, having a painful past as supernatural murders of men plague her village.”
Clean Slate Films has already produced Bet, Phillauri and NH10, which starred Anushka Sharma. Amazon Prime’s Paatal lok was Anushka’s latest project as a producer. The show played Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Ishwak Singh, Gul Panag, Jagjeet Sandhu, Swastika Mukherjee and Vipin Sharma.
