Thursday’s trivia episode Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 started with Jatin Khatri, an IT professional from Mumbai. Show host and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan began the episode by sending his fans the first Diwali greetings. He then started the game with Jatin. He managed to earn Rs 6.40,000 and decided to quit the game afterwards. During the game, he revealed that he would buy a running prosthetic leg. Much to Jatin’s surprise, Amitabh Bachchan announced that Sony Entertainment Television (the channel on which KBC airs), seeing his conviction and dedication, decided to help him with the prosthetic running leg.
The second competitor to play the game with Amitabh Bachchan was Devi Meena, 26, from Jaipur, Rajasthan, but she has been residing in Mumbai for a few years. During the game, she revealed that Amitabh Bachchan had previously visited the passport office, where she worked. However, she couldn’t have the chance to meet him there. Amitabh Bachchan joked that they were meant to meet on the show. She quit the game after winning Rs 1.60,000. Journalist Vikrant Gupta was the expert on tonight’s episode KBC 12. Sharmila Gargayan was the third competitor to reach the hot seat. She will play the game in tomorrow’s episode.
