While in hospital for more than three weeks, Amitabh Bachchan had frequently written messages of gratitude for doctors and healthcare workers. He added another thank you note in his blog post: “When I approached them as ‘angels in white’, I never imagined that I would be lying in their midst to savor their angelic presence, because they give us inspiration and the strength to fight. They are quite remarkable. My gratitude will never fail for them. “
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek were admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on July 11 after being diagnosed with coronavirus. Following Big B’s return on Sunday, here’s what he tweeted:

Meanwhile, Abhishek wrote: “I, unfortunately due to some co-morbidities, remain COVID-19 positive and stay in hospital.”

Abhishek’s wife, Aishwarya, was also briefly in the hospital and returned home on July 27 after testing negative for the virus. Their eight-year-old daughter, who also tested positive, has also recovered and returned home with Aishwarya. Amitabh Bachchan’s wife Jaya Bachchan has tested negative.
