Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently being treated for COVID-19 at Nanavati Hospita in Mumbail with his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, devoted his last post to health workers who “work tirelessly, tirelessly, generously” to protect others. The actor, who shared information about his health from the hospital, quoted a few lines from a poem written by his father, the late veteran poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and wrote: “Words from Babuji … for those who work tirelessly, tirelessly, generously to protect us. “Borrow some verses from the poem by Harivansh Rai Bachchan Main hoon unke saath khadi jo seedhi rakhte apni reedh, Big B wrote: “Main hoon unke saath khadi jo seedhi rakhte apni reedh. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek tested positive for the coronavirus on July 11. A day after the duo shared their diagnosis of coronavirus with their fans on Twitter, Abhishek’s wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their 8-year-old daughter also tested COVID-19 positive. Aishwarya was isolated at the Bachchan residence – Jalsa – for almost a week before she was transferred to Nanavati Hospital on Friday.

The Saturday, hospital insider reportedly quoted by PTI news agency: “They respond well to treatment. They are in the isolation room.”
