Air India said on Wednesday that it would start operating additional flights from New Delhi to Sydney between October 10 and 14, as part of the central government’s “ Unlock 5 ” phase.
“Air India will operate additional flights from Delhi to Sydney between October 10-14, 2020,” Air India tweeted.
The airline has mentioned that limited seats will be available due to COVID-19 restrictions enforced by Australian authorities.
“Limited places available due to quarantine restrictions imposed by Australian authorities. Reservation will open today at 4:00 p.m. (IST) via AI’s website, reservation desks and call center,” he said. he said in the tweet.
All scheduled commercial passenger flights were suspended in India on March 25 after the central government imposed a lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Domestic flights in the country resumed operations gradually from May 25.
