An Air India flight carrying 114 Indians, stranded in the United Arab Emirates due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown, reached Indore on Sunday evening, an official said.

Of the total number of passengers, 64 disembarked at Indore, while the remaining 50 were flown to Mumbai, the official said.

“The plane landed at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore at 8:12 pm,” said Aryama Sanyal, the airport manager.

Meanwhile, Indore District COVID-19 Prevention Nodal Officer Amit Malakar said none of the 64 passengers, who disembarked at Indore, showed symptoms of coronaviurus infection. when checking the airport.

Among them, 12 passengers are from Indore.

These passengers, who already had a COVID-negative test report, will be required to remain in isolation at home for 14 days as a precaution. The other passengers will be required to remain in an isolation center for the first seven days and in isolation. at home for several days later, ”he said.
