Hazel, who had nose surgery last year, misses surfing a bit too much. “The way the ocean hits you in the face and you have a hard time getting it past the waves … the feel of the wave coming from your toes, the wave pop up and slide under you … j ‘m want it now,’ she wrote.
Present Hazel Keech like you’ve never seen her before:
Hazel Keech, who recently started exercising again after her nose surgery last year, successfully completed a 15km hike in Vaishno Devi. She put her thoughts this way: “By far the hardest thing I have ever done … humility, struggle, resilience, tears, emotional upheaval, blessing: – are some of the words to describe this experience. I didn’t do ‘I believe I could physically do it, others also didn’t believe I could either, emotionally I hesitated but spiritually by all means I was going to reach the top , and I did! “
By far the most difficult thing I have ever done … humiliation, struggle, resilience, tears, overwhelming emotion, blessing: – are some of the words to describe this experience. I didn’t believe I could do it physically, others also didn’t believe I could, emotionally I hesitated but spiritually by all means I was going to reach the top, and I got it made! I hiked the 9 mile hike with a steady, steep incline. I don’t often put religious messages, I believe religion is a private thing but the climb to Vaishnudevi is more about the will of the human spirit, of being tested against all odds while reaching the top on the will pure and determination ….. (it is only when we push ourselves beyond our comfort level that we discover what we are made of …..) thank you to everyone who supported me in this ❤️ you are in my heart
“Exactly what the doctor ordered me! A dose of happiness mixed with rain and cycling! I’ll be honest, even if I smile in this photo, I was also dying”, she captioned her post of his first day of cycling after a hiatus.
